(Washington, DC) — On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Congressman Al Green delivered remarks on the House floor in support of the bipartisan bill, H.R. 5408, Faster Labor Contracts Act, legislation that would help workers secure their first collective bargaining agreement by establishing timelines for negotiations, mediation, and arbitration when necessary. The bill is designed to prevent employers from delaying contract negotiations after workers vote to unionize.

(Houston, TX) — On Sunday, May 24, 2026, Congressman Al Green, faith and community leaders will host a candlelight vigil in remembrance of the victims fatally shot during the hate-driven attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego. The vigil will honor Amin Abdullah, 51; Mansour “Abul Izz” Kaziha, 78; and Nadir Awad, 57, who were killed while courageously protecting the children in the building during the attack.
