Congressman Al Green Will Host Press Conference to Announce Impeachment Vote to Hold President Trump Accountable for High Crimes and Misdemeanors

(Washington, D.C.) — On Monday, September 14, 2026, Congressman Al Green will be joined by John Bonifaz, Co-Founder and President of Free Speech For People;Jessica Denson, Founder of the Removal Coalition; Bruce Fein, former Associate Deputy Attorney General under President Reagan; and Nse Ufot, Women’s March Senior Advisor to host a press conference at the House Triangle at the U.S. Capitol to discuss the need to hold President Trump accountable for high crimes and misdemeanors. Congressman Al Green will also discuss the timeline for impeachment and make a special announcement.

The press conference follows Congressman Green’s filing of articles of impeachment on August 24, 2026.
