(Houston, TX)—On Thursday, March 6, 2014, Congressman Al Green (TX-09) joined Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius, Pastor Remus E. Wright, as well as a local enrollee in the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace at the Fountain of Praise Church for a press conference on the health coverage enrollment efforts in the faith community. Congressman Al Green encouraged people to continue signing up for health coverage before the March 31, 2014 deadline and lauded the faith-based community’s efforts to enroll individuals in health coverage.

Congressman Al Green also joined Dia de la Mujer Latina, Inc. and Central Care Community Health Clinic at the Hiram Clark Multiservice Center at a separate enrollment event. The resolutions were introduced with 36 original cosponsors.
