On Friday, September 11, 2015, Congressman Al Green released the following statement regarding the Iran Nuclear Agreement:

“We, the United States of America, are a superpower, and although we may not be the glue which holds the world together, we are an indispensable element within that glue.

“As a superpower, our ability to police the world is both expected and demanded. During times of international discord or conflict, ‘Where are the Americans?’ is an immediate refrain. We are expected to pay the price of freedom so that others may be free.
