(Houston, TX) - On March 9, 2013, all Houstonians were invited to the Bayou City Event Center for a town hall meeting addressing comprehensive immigration reform.  Congressman Al Green hosted this information filled town hall meeting. Joining Congressman Al Green was Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez as well as Houston immigrants, other elected officials, and community leaders.

The bill will provide funds to school districts and/or local education agencies to impart voter registration information to high school seniors prior to graduation.
