(Houston, TX)—On Thursday, January 28, 2016, Congressman Al Green released the following statement on the attack and robbery of a 95-year-old Sunnyside woman on January 18, 2016, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day:

“The dastardly attack and robbery of a 95-year-old great-grandmother in her Sunnyside home is both shocking and horrifying. As a community, we must do more than regret that this crime occurred. We must give any information, including the identity of the perpetrator, to the police. It is in the best interest of the community for this person to be caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent that the law allows: Justice demands no less and our community deserves no less.”
