(Houston, TX) — On Friday, December 15, 2023, Congressman Al Green, Stafford Mayor Ken Matthew, public officials, and special guests will host a renaming ceremony at a U.S. Post Office in Stafford, Texas, honoring the late Mayor Leonard Scarcella.
This ceremony will include a statement by Congressman Al Green and public officials, as well as special remarks from close family and friends of Mayor Scarcella. This occasion was made possible by the passage of Congressman Green’s legislation in the 117th Congress, H.R. 5865, designating the Leonard Scarcella Post Office Building.
