Congressman Al Green Announces Green-Fletcher Federal Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee
(Washington, D.C.) – On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Congressman Al Green, joined by Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07), released the following statement announcing the Green-Fletcher Federal Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee:
“I am pleased to announce in tandem with my colleague, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07), the Green-Fletcher Federal Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee,” stated Congressman Al Green. “Previously distinguished as the Green Federal Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee, the Committee has provided valuable insight that has led to our successful recommendation of three federal district court judges and one federal appellate court judge. With Congresswoman Fletcher joining us in this endeavor, I am certain that we will continue to consider qualified, diverse candidates for these highly sought judicial appointments. On behalf of the entire Committee, I am pleased to welcome her.”

The Green-Fletcher Federal Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee will be accepting names of qualified individuals for consideration of appointments for federal judges, U.S. attorneys, and federal marshals.
