(Houston, TX) — On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the House Financial Services Committee passed the Taiwan Non-Discrimination Act out of a committee markup by a vote of 48-0. This bipartisan bill led by Congresswoman Young Kim and Congressman Al Green successfully passed the House of Representatives during the 118th Congress. The legislation aims to ensure that the United States takes action to support Taiwan’s admission to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
