Congressman Al Green Congratulates Incoming HPD Chief Troy Finner on Swearing-In

“It brings me great joy to congratulate a long-time public servant and proud Houstonian, Troy Finner, on being sworn in as Chief of the Houston Police Department. Since his first swearing in as an HPD officer more than 30 years ago, Chief Finner has built a legacy of integrity and a willingness to work with and on behalf of the communities he serves,” stated Congressman Al Green. “In his role as Assistant Chief, it was my esteemed pleasure to work with him on an increased demand for security within my congressional office and for my staff and I during public events across the city.”
