ICYMI: Congressman Al Green Continues to Have His Pay Withheld as Republicans Play Games with TSA Pay; Republicans Must End Their Shutdown Game

Congressman Al Green continues to have his pay withheld in solidarity with TSA and other workers, as Republicans continue to play with the lives of employees who are being forced to work without pay. Their families still have to put food on the table and meet the cost of living expenses.

It is time for Republicans to stop playing President Trump’s shutdown game, which is designed to force Republicans to pass this and future legislation without Democratic support. To accomplish this unprecedented abuse of power, Republicans would have to either use the budget reconciliation process or end the 60-vote filibuster rule to pass their legislation with 51 votes.

Shame on you, President Trump. You are putting politics above the lives of the American people.
